I'm going to tell you about my incredible trip to Ivory Coast.
This West African country is full of cultural riches, breathtaking landscapes and a warm population. I had the chance to live an unforgettable experience during my stay and I am delighted to be able to share my adventures with you.
Day 1: Arrival in Abidjan, the bustling metropolis My trip began with my arrival in Abidjan, the largest city in Ivory Coast. From the first moments, I was struck by the energy and excitement of this metropolis. I was welcomed at the B&B hotel https://bnbhotelspa.com
Day 3: Discovering natural treasures After spending a few days in Abidjan, I decided to discover the natural treasures of Côte d'Ivoire. My first destination was the Bingerville botanical garden, this garden is full of plants (palm groves, cheese area, Henri Konan Bédié area, Ambassador area, nurseries, etc.), a picnic area and a playground. soccer. Some trees are named after political figures (ambassadors, former ministers, etc.).
You can easily observe common plants and insects of Côte d'Ivoire, and more rarely some reptiles (lizard, snake) or mammals (squirrel).
The garden is classified as a historic monument by decree of March 27, 1991.
Day 4, I visited The Abidjan Zoo , its full name Abidjan National Zoo with the NGO BETHEL FOOD Internationale.
My dream came true as you can see in the first photo I met Judith a 31 year old elephant born in 1992 🐘. I wanted her to strike the pose but it wasn't easy 🤣🤣🤣.
Day 5 finished hanging out we came here to work ☺️.I had the chance to visit the village of Grand-Bassam, a UNESCO world heritage site. to do some scouting for the brand's shoot, I was able to meet my friend the monkey who is posing next to me and like a big tourist I am taking a photo with a pony. the white sand and the waltzing waves made me want to dive there but I don't know how to swim.
Day 6: Shooting day, with 4 models from Ivory Coast as well as the photographer I had selected to work with me:
Day 7: I'm enjoying the discovery of natural treasures because my trip is almost over. After spending a few days in Abidjan, I decided to set off to discover the natural treasures of Côte d'Ivoire. My destination was Banco National Park, a UNESCO biosphere reserve. I was amazed by the diversity of flora and fauna in this tropical paradise. I was able to observe monkeys, huge fish and birds . Tips: this 3 km park you need to get there by car or rent bikes at the entrance for 3000 francfa.
Conclusion: My trip to Ivory Coast was an unforgettable experience which allowed me to discover the diversity and beauty of my country. I was enchanted by the cultural richness, the breathtaking landscapes and the warm welcome. I also did my first shoot in an African country and I am grateful to the universe for allowing me to do so.
